My computer was stolen and I don't have the original install disk. What's the cheapest/easiest way to replace the software.

First, the CE-200 and CE-250 software is entirely different. The CE-150, -250, and -350 software can be installed on 32 bit versions without a patch.

You can also install things like AutoPunch without a patch. Secondly, you can purchase the basic software for these models as well as the add-on software for lots less from eBay.

Regarding the installation. For all CE models, after you have installed the basic software, but before you install any add-on software, like AutoPunch, you must first plug in the USB cable between your PC and machine and then turn it on to let the driver install. Until then, it will tell you the basic software has NOT installed. Secondly, with the CE-200, you must apply a patch BEFORE you have installed AutoPunch to get AutoPunch to install at all. That's where you problem lies. The patch is available from the Futura Support site, which was provided above. There are also instructions for both models for Win 7 and 8 installation, which MUST be followed EXACTLY.

Lastly, there is NO access code for the basic software. There WAS an access code for the CE-200 AutoPunch, to be typed in one time, but if the patch had NOT been administered before you started, it won't be accepted. Posted on Nov 29, 2014. I just purchased a CE-200, the Futura software seemed to install fine, and wanted to work, but when i tried to install the AutoPunch software, and I put in the CD Access Code, it said it was an invalid code, and now even the original software won't work. I will trade a working access code to anyone needing a copy of the software.

Hopefully, your code will work with my autopunch copy. I am running Windows XP with all the service packs installed, even the one from Singer. I had the same problem, I called a service who repairs sewing machines and sells them and they will download one from a machine they are selling to my lap top or see if they will make a copy for you this dealer had no charge to just download to lap top but others may be different. It's just so crazy this manufactor can not replace start up disc because these machines are a great deal of money and alot of poeple buy used as my self and then find out all they need before they can use certain functions.

I originally thought I was having problems downloading the software but it turned out that I received the CD with the extras (Autopunch, autofont, etc.) and not the basic installation software. While talking with Customer Service at Singer about my installation problem, they realized I had the wrong CD. They sent me the installation hardware. I had to send them a copy of my invoice for the sewing machine I purchased. Contact them at 1-800-4Singer or for customer support.
