Im currently working on a DVB streaming project and it seems like there is a problem with the gst-plugins-bad package. This package is supposed to provide mpegts-plugins e.g. Mpegtsdemux, mpegtsparse and so on. However no application on my system can find mpegtsdemux or mpegtsparse. I have installed gstreamer1.2.4-1 and also gstreamer0.10.23-8. Of course I have installed gst-plugins-bad for both versions of gestreamer and even all of the other plugin packages. I have also read that it is absolutely ok to to run both versions of gstreamer on the same system.

First Example: I tried to install Gnome DVB Daemon. Both, the version from AUR and from here fail with the error checking GStreamer 0.10 inspection tool. Yes checking GStreamer 0.10 mpegtsparse plugin. No configure: error: Cannot find required GStreamer-0.10 plugin mpegtsparse. It should be part of gst-plugins-bad.

When I came back to a file for Project A, of course my Assignments panel was missing, and I can't find it anywhere. To change a wave's shape you must first zoom in all the way until you see the little squares (below): With the sample edit tool you can then drag any little square. I was recently given a Wacom Bamboo Pen Touch as a birthday present and have downloaded a trial version of Adobe Illustrator CS5. I've spent hours searching through on-line forums, tutorials, videos, Illustrator help, Wacom help, searching through Illustrator menus and tool options and have not been able to find any way of doing pencil-like sketches in Illustrator where the line thickness and opacity are controlled by the pressure of the pen on the Wacom tablet. I've been able to find pressure-sensitivity options in Illustrator for the diameter (not opacity) of a pen but can't find anything for a pencil (or any kind of 'dry media'). Basically, I'd like to be able to do drawings that look like pencil sketches where the pencil strokes vary according to how much pressure is applied to the 'pencil' (ie, the pen on the tablet). Is that possible in Illustrator?
Running into a very frustrating problem that I've spent three days on now. I realize plugins are not part of Mozilla, but Mozilla is giving me a looping error message that something is missing when I don't see at all that anything is. I receive this message when I am trying to play an audio file for transcription. 'Additional plugins are required to display all the media on this page'. I know the program uses QuickTime, and that is up-to-date, but not sure what other plugins it would need.

Hi I imported application TutWDPopupInit in to NWDS which is downloaded and stored in local disk. After that i build the project its showing the following error. Instead, I used the Pencil tool to trace the picure, and afterwards he told everyone to apply a Mesh using the mesh tool on the drawing. I had discovered that on CS2 and CS4 you are not able to use the Mesh tool with the pencil, which seems odd Since the Pen and pencil tool are almost the same. Does anyone have any advice?

While I was working on an image the pencil tool changed from a square shape to a rectangle. With the pencil size set to 1 point, the rectangle appears to be approximately a 2 x 2 square. I can't think of anything I did to cause the change and I can't seem to get the 1 pt pencil back, including rebooting.

That's the best thing about PS, that there are so many overlapping concepts/tools. This wouldn't destroy the lowly pencil tool it can still be hard-edged, but also give it more life to do other things with an anti-aliased option.
It's always wanted to be something more than just be a hard-edged pencil. Because if we follow the idea of redundant tools we might as well just remove the pencil tool and give us an option for a hard-edged brush and put the pencil to pasture.
So I recorded a live event and sure enough while the singer was performing, someone had to cough and it was picked up loud and clear in by the mics. STP clicks and pops didn't work. Tried sampling noise and reduce noise didn't work - it would either take everything out, or nothing.
I couldn't isolate the cough you know? Now the editor tool. I have googled it, I have watched videos but I must be missing something.
In the 'waveform' everyone says you can re-draw the wave to smooth it out but when I click in the waveform with the pencil, I just get the 'you can't do that' sound. In the 'Frequency Spectrum View' I don't get the 'you can't do that' sound but it also doesn't do anything. I cant click and drag, make a line, circle the offending sound, nothing.

After importing the project close the project first then close NWDS. Then open NWDS, open project build and deploy.

Hello I can't help thinking the answer to this must be staring me in the face but I have a path created with the paintbrush tool, which I'd like to make a dashed path using the settings under 'dashed line' in the stroke panel.
However, no matter what I do the path remains a solid line. If I draw a path with the pen, pencil or line segment tool then I can make it into a dashed path just as I'd expect, but not with the paintbrush tool. Am I missing something? Normally I would see an outline of the pixel group - so for example, if the pencil size was 6 pixels I would see the outline of the six pixels. This allows very accurate poitioning of the tool.
All of a sudden these outlines have disappeared and all I can see is a representation of the pencil where the cursor is. This makes positioning rather hit and miss especially if the pixel size is large. What has changed - and how can I return it to the way it was? I'm running OS 10.4.11 on a G3 ibook.
I'm trying to install CS3 and so far the only thing which works is Photoshop. InDesign crashes every time 'unexpectedly' and doesn't give a reason. Illustrator comes up with the BRS Pencil Tool and ExpandS error and then quits. So far I've tried the following: Creating a new user account Uninstalling Illustrator and reinstalling (I've even tried 2 different versions) Checking the system fonts Renaming the Settings and.plist in the Preferences folder Verifying and repairing permissions Does anyone have any other ideas?

There's no two ways that the most obvious approach would be to use traditional media to do this, but the starting point will be footage generated in Lightwave, so fairly complex 3D stuff, but rendered with the intention of generating this more traditional look. Has anyone done anything like this and can offer any ideas or starting points? Is AE the right tool to even attempt this? Thanks for any help. When editing in the event list editor selecting the pencil tool to insert a controller#, it always defaults to CC#7. Then 'after' inserting the event CC exactly where I want it, I then need to manually change that inserted CC# to the one I really want. (for example i.e. I want to open the event list, select the pencil tool then insert CC#1 in one simple step). Any way to change the default CC# that the pencil tool will automatically be selected to, when opening an event list? Or maybe I'm missing a 'hold' key command when selecting the pencil tool?
